The Marchesa fall 2008 collection is a tribute to Queen Elizabeth 1 and every dress in the collection are inspired by temples and buildings. The color use of this collection is mainly black, white and red which match with the colors of temples and buildings. The brand “Marchesa” is established by Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig Marchesa and its well known for the modern aesthetic of putting signature draping and layers of textiles together. Take this black dress as an example. Designer use different elements from the building like the color and textile and put them into the dress.
